Mike is a technology expert and product thinker who leverages extensive experience in data sciences, analytics, product development and digital marketing strategies. He is responsible for dealer software, Product, DevOps, UX and Engineering teams at Convertus, and a portfolio of ~1000 automotive dealer websites, online marketing applications and SEO solutions.
 
 
 
 
 

Ronnie has an overall experience of 10 years in Software Engineering working in Telecom and Financial Services sectors. He started his career as a Software Engineer at Verizon Communications and later grew into more senior roles at Amdocs, Rogers and Bank of Montreal. Prior to joining Trader, he was working at National Bank of Canada as a Senior Manager where he was leading a diverse IT Development & Delivery team working on multi-year digital transformational programs and increasing Agile & DevOps Adoption.

With over a decade in the Digital Automotive space, Jesse has seen and been a part of the digital transformation the automotive industry has taken in Canada. Jesse is responsible for defining vision and product strategies to achieve success for Convertus and their customers. A problem solver at heart, Jesse enjoys nothing more than winding his way through a challenging problem. Jesse built his first website when he was 14 years old, ironically showcasing his favourite cars. This passion for digital media has continued though his career.

Joining the team in 2018, Andrew Pangilinan has risen high at Convertus in a very short amount of time and is now our Operations Manager. This is largely because of his keen eye for detail, and his ironclad work ethic. When it comes to guiding us to our project goals, Andrew has a firm hand on the tiller making our incredible solutions work the way that you want them to. With an accomplished educational background, including a Master’s Degree in Food and Resource Economics, Andrew keeps the cogs turning at Convertus with profound insight, a gift for problem-solving, and an attention to detail that is second to none in the industry.

Mourad worked for 7 years in Schlumberger (world leader of oilfield technology), he worked with many software development teams to empower over 100k employees with quality software and digitally enable them to achieve excellence. Mourad started as a business analyst working closely with the business and dev populations to manage requirements, then developed an interest in process and frameworks and became a Scrum master transforming large broken teams into smaller agile ones.

Mourad moved Canada last September and got his first job with Hyundai Canada as a dealership communication systems analyst, coordinating between dealers and Hyundai IT team and developed an interest in the automotive sales industry and the current online disruptions.

Marcelo Gaia has been coding since 2009 and joined the team back in July 2018 as a Full Stack Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Design in Digital Interfaces and a Diploma of Computer Studies. He has a passion for solving “impossible” problems, loves a good challenge, and as a supervisor, he enjoys finding better, simpler, faster ways to do everything. Marcelo believes in continuous learning and in helping his team achieve their best as well as find new ways to solve problems.
 
 

Brendan joined the Convertus team in November 2016 after graduating with distinction from BCIT with a diploma in Digital Design and Development. Throughout his time here he has used his expertise in web development to help plan, analyse and implement many of the innovative features that you can see on Convertus websites. As a development supervisor, he guides and supports the development team in creating valuable solutions for our clients as well as improving and refining our development life cycle. He looks forward to continuing to develop innovative technology that tests the limits of what is possible in the industry.
